A miracle happened at my house. The kids actually asked me to cook one or the other menu, since they did not have it in “like forever mom!”. Wow, I thought I will never hear these word from my kids. I guess writing the blog and developing new and improved recipes did pay off. The usual “not xyz again!” turned into “please, I haven’t had it like forever!” As every good mother would, their wish is my command….
My girls and I came up with a fun way to “repeat” recipes. We printed out all the recipes I have captured on the blog (all 70 that is) and I gave the list to all four kids. Each had to give me their favorite 10 meals. Over the next two weeks, we will enjoy my kids top 10 meals starting with number 10. Let me know what you think. Would these 5 menus make your list?
The shopping list is organized according to the grocery store aisles. I hope this makes shopping much easier

Tip: As you have been cooking for a while, herbs seem to accumulate in the pantry. I have an entire cabinet dedicated to all the different herbs and seasonings I use. Before you go out and buy more of the “same stuff”, check your pantry to make sure you don’t already have it.
