Welcome!

…. to dinner storys

Every dinner tells a story. Are we pressed for time? A one-pot meal it is. Do we have a celebration? An elaborated meal is served. Yes, even during the week in our hectic lives, we can serve a dinner worth celebrating. No worries, cooking is not as difficult as it sounds. Just follow my lead and you too will soon tell dinner stories that bring the entire family to the table. Follow my thread and let the adventures begin.

I’m so excited you stopped by. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a mother of four and happily married. My kids range between the ages of 8 and 15 and just like you I struggle daily to “fit it all in”. My favorite time of the day is dinnertime. It’s where we all gather after a long and busy day and reconnect as a family. My biggest challenge of the day though has to do with the ancient old question; “What’s for dinner?” How can I possibly fit in grocery shopping and cooking a meal that is ready in time for dinner when I have to drive carpool and take the kids to and from their after school activities? Not to mention attending the kids games!

If you have had one too many take out meals this week and would like to serve your family a healthier alternative, follow my lead. Worried that you don’t know how to cook? If you can read, you can cook. Just follow my simple recipes and you too, will wow your family with a home cooked meal. Does the grocery list or store overwhelm you? No worries, the shopping list is ready to print out and organized according to the grocery store aisles. No need to run around the store searching endlessly for your ingredients.

Since all our needs are different, I have included different shopping options. I like to shop every other day. Personally, I don’t like frozen poultry or meat, but if that works for you, go for it. I have a weekly shopping list ready for you that you will receive, if everything goes well, on Saturday morning. Just like you, my days are hectic and sometimes things just don’t get done until a little later in the day. Remember, there is no right or wrong when it comes to cooking!

My hope for this blog is to unite more families for dinner and let them reconnect with one and another to build stronger family ties. Also, home cooked meals are healthier, because YOU decide what your family eats. I’m a strong believer that food brings people together and it is the ONE common factor we all share. Let’s start in our own homes. I show you how. Let the dinner storys begin and remember, there is no right or wrong when it comes to cooking!
